This Sunday, June 1st, 12-3PM, the Riders are hosting a trail day in Camel’s Hump State Forest. We plan to meet at 11:45AM at Stark Mountain Bikes and carpool to the Tucker Hill Rd parking lot. Tools and maple donuts will be provided. Please bring gloves, eye protection, sturdy shoes, water, and snacks. We will be improving flow and clearing drainages along Enchanted Forest and Cyclone Connector. Depending on the size of the crew, we may get to Cyclone, too.
On Tuesday, June 3rd, 5-7PM, the Mad River Rippers free guided kids ride starts at Blueberry Lake-Green Mountain National Forest. We have 37 kids signed up already! Check the website for details, http://madriverriders.com/mad-river-rippers/
Next weekend, the Riders inaugurate the 2014 season in style, celebrating National Trails Day on Sunday June 8th. We have two big events planned.
Phase 2 Blueberry Lake Groundbreaking is 12-3PM, with a short dedication ceremony, guided hikes and bike rides, and free demos from Xprezo Bikes and paddleboards from Clearwater Sports.
